Sabra Gertsch is the kind of woman that can pull all the air out of the room; with piercing features and enviably gorgeous hair, she calls all eyes to her and is always making a statement, exactly like a femme fatale. Those expressive eyebrows and big eyes communicate intention and adventurousness, something key to Sabra’s character.
It wasn’t long ago that Sabra left Seattle and her Emmy-award winning work behind for an impulsive trip to Australia, launching her into a lifestyle of treading international unfamiliar paths and tracking it all in Anchor Away, her section of a blog created for female travelers called Wanderlust and Lipstick. In addition to her thoughtful observations, Sabra is known for her snippets of global conversation — referred to as “Overheard in ____” — further demonstrating the keen mind behind the svelte exterior. It’s basically a requirement to follow her on Twitter, as you won’t want to miss a single gem.
To celebrate the updated romance of the 40s, a key trend to Fall 2013 runways, M&E captured a Hitchcock-worthy Sabra Gertsch at the historic Harvard Exit Theatre in Seattle.
