Bellevue, WA (July 31, 2012) – Back by popular demand the 2nd Annual Rosaline Hampton Fashion Camp will officially kick off next Monday, August 6thin Bellevue. The week-long camp for teenage girls will feature interactive workshops on beauty, fashion, and wellness led by an exciting mix of style mentors including Yuliya Suleymanova, Fashion Director of Madina Vadache, Eugenia Weston, founder of Senna Cosmetics, Brittany Belur of Nordstrom and Fitness Coach Tanji Johnson. At the end of the week the girls graduate from Fashion Camp by starring in their very own runway show complete with red carpet photos and a special after-party with music by DJ RC ‘Radiyo’ Johnson and catering provided by Lisa Dupar & Co.
The Fashion Camp workshops focus on teaching teens the skills they need to be successful in all aspects of their lives by empowering them to set and achieve goals and make positive choices. Rosaline Hampton founded the non-profit, RH Fashion Camp in 2010 as a way to encourage young girls to discover their personal style and build confidence through the art of hair, make-up and fashion. The teens that attend camp participate on a scholarship funded by Rosaline Hampton Salon Inc. “It’s powerful to see the transformation of the girls from the first day of camp to the final runway show,” says salon owner and stylist Rosaline Hampton. Each day of camp features a new area of focus including hair, make-up, wardrobe and accessories.
Camp participants will also receive a special “Fashion Camp Kit” filled with beauty products and swag provided by generous community sponsors including Rock Star Jewelry, Luna Bar, Queen Anne Dispatch, Calidora Skin Clinic, The Bellevue Collection, Charley + May, KIND Snacks, Budhi Skincare, Orange Box Jewelry, Talking Rain, Chameleon PLM and more.
The 2nd Annual RH Fashion Camp will take place August 6-10th at Rosaline Hampton Salon in Bellevue.
