Caitlin’s involvement in fashion began when she modeled for local designers and photographers in college. After falling in love with Seattle’s fashion industry and sensing its potential, she put her English degree to use and began blogging as the Managing Editor for Fashion Network—Seattle, helping to put talented up-and-coming designers on the map. Caitlin now turns her focus to M&E as the most promising medium to further Seattle’s fashion industry; she aims to create quality content that develops and exposes local talent while connecting it to the greater national and international picture of fashion.
Caitlin believes that apparel and trends act as a social commentary of the times, and is highly interested in fashion history and vintage clothing. She loves ladylike style, with an edge; Marc Jacobs, Bottega Veneta, and Christian Dior are her favorite brands. She also believes that fashion is more about style than tags, and enjoys mixing secondhand and vintage pieces in with her wardrobe.
